Primary school pupil profile

This profile is targeted at students of up to 8 years old. A large number of changes have been made to the configuration to improve the usability for young children, and it is the first large scale effort of this sort in the world. The sizes of most of the desktop elements have been increased, the surrounding environment has been simplified, and only the smallest set of specially adapted applications included. The result is a simple but highly functional desktop.

Secondary school pupil profile

This profile is based on the default Kubuntu desktop (based on KDE), with various customizations to facilitate ease of use. Of special note, is the customization of the KDE Menu (equivalent to the Windows start menu), as well as other changes aimed at simplifying the administration options. These changes allow the Medusa project to enfore access and user policies globally.

Basic teacher profile

This profile is similar to the previous one with some customizations for accessing peripheral devices, and for accessing user spaces in the school servers.

Advanced teacher profile

This profile is similar to the previous one, with some customizations for managing peripheral devices.

Profile for classroom administrators

The profile is similar to the previous one, but oriented towards application installations and the simple administration of desktop configurations.
